Lake Norman Taekwondo America

Serving families is our mission at Lake Norman Taekwondo and our goal is simple: to encourage our students to do their best at everything they take on, whether it’s martial arts, school, hobbies and sports; we continually hear from our members how much taekwondo complements their focus, commitment and attitude in various physical, mental and emotional activities.

Hands-On Instructors and Unlimited Classes

Students learn self-defense, anger management and goal-setting skills through taekwondo; they also have the opportunity to improve their self-esteem, physical fitness, discipline, flexibility and stamina. We are a member of Tae Kwon Do America, a national organization that sponsors four annual tournaments, camps and seminars.

Our school facility offers instructor-led classes five days a week for children and adults in a large workout room that includes a matted floor as well as focus pads, heavy bags, breakable boards and other state-of-the-art equipment. Families are welcome to watch our members work out from a separate viewing area.

Our Mooresville-based school has strong ties to the local community and hosts, participates and sponsors a wide range of taekwondo events, programs and competitions each year, including free demonstrations, after-school programs and other activities.
